You did everything right, but you’re still stuck.

You passed your certification exam. You invested thousands of dollars and months of your life studying. You hold the credential. But every employer demands experience you don't have.

Or maybe you're an experienced outpatient coder looking to advance. You know CPT codes, but inpatient ICD-10-CM and PCS is a fundamentally different system. The ceiling is real.

The problem isn't you. It's that textbooks and multiple-choice quizzes don't prepare you for a real hospital coding department.

"I've learned more and actually understood it better here than I did through all of my previous training put together."

Enter the real coding workflow.

Core Foundations is a 24-week inpatient facility coding program designed to bridge the gap between certification and competency. We don't just teach the codes; we teach the workflow, the clinical context, and the financial impact of every decision you make.

Clinical Context First

You don't read about POA indicators—you assign them in actual chart scenarios and see the clinical reasoning behind them.

Interactive Simulators

Practice inside an EHR-style environment. Navigate ICD-10-PCS tables exactly like you would on the job.

DRG Logic Embedded

Most programs treat DRGs as an afterthought. We teach coding and DRG impact together, because accurate coding drives hospital revenue.

Instructor reviewing documents

Proof you can actually do the job.

Certificates are nice, but employers want evidence. As you progress through the program, you'll build a complete Coding Portfolio of clinical case studies.

The Instructor Reference Letter

Students who score 90% or higher on their final case studies don't just graduate—they earn a formal instructor reference letter recommending them to prospective employers based on demonstrated inpatient competency.

A premium program without the debt trap.

You shouldn't have to take out a loan for the training you need to get hired. We priced this to be accessible, without compromising the clinical depth.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this for absolute beginners?
No. This program is built for coders who already have a foundation—either recently certified coders who can't get hired, or experienced outpatient coders moving to inpatient. We do not teach basic medical terminology or anatomy.
Will AI replace these coding jobs anyway?
AI is changing how we code, but it isn't eliminating the need for inpatient coders. AI relies on trained coders as the clinical judgment layer to validate, correct, and query physician documentation. The coders at risk are the ones who only look up codes. We train you to think like an auditor.
How long does the program take?
The curriculum is designed as a 24-week (6-month) structured program. You'll receive monthly content unlocks to keep you focused on deep mastery rather than rushing through the material.
What if I need help?
We hold weekly office hours (Tuesday–Thursday) where you can bring specific chart scenarios, coding questions, or areas of confusion. You also get access to our private student community.
